We’re delighted to welcome our members back for another year of FaB business networking and have enjoyed sharing all our exciting plans with you during the last month.
2019 has already got off to a great start with successful networking meetings across Tamworth, Nuneaton, Hinckley and Rugby, and we’re looking forward to many more to come.
Last year was a great one, with lots of new members signed up, almost 80 events held and thousands of pounds worth of business generated among the fantastic ‘Networking Army’ we created in 2018.
Everyone is now raring to go on a brand new year and we’re planning to build on previous success by doing even more to help your business grow over the next 12 months.
With that in mind, we’ve revealed our new initiative for 2019 which is:
Sales and Marketing
Branding, sales and marketing are among the main vehicles of your business’s success and key to any growth plans.
During the next 12 months, we’ll be focusing on bringing you lots of new sales and marketing knowledge so you can develop or update your sales processes and marketing strategy. Networking is a vital component of that, and we’ll be showing you how we can build on the ‘Networking Army’ to boost your sales and marketing.
While it was Sue Tonks who helped us develop those essential networking tips last year, this year we have teamed up with sales and marketing specialists at Domino Effect.
Domino Effect workshops are run by established marketing professionals Colette Bratton and Wendy Harris and they will be sharing their marketing tips and expertise with FaB members at monthly meetings throughout the year.
We’ll also be encouraging you to support each other’s sales and marketing efforts through referrals, reviews and what we call ‘online cheerleading’, which mainly means shouting about your fellow FaB members whenever you get the opportunity on social media, Google and any other online opportunity.
The FaB Forum!
This year we’ve also introduced the brand new FaB Forum, which is our very own social media platform, exclusive to FaB members. This enables you to connect with members from all FaB groups, outside the usual meetings.
Similar to Facebook and LinkedIn, with the FaB Forum you can set up a profile, create groups, send private messages and start discussions. We’re encouraging all FaBsters to go online to https://forum.fab-networking.com/ and set up a profile and start connecting with even more members as soon as possible.
We hope these features, alongside a new mission and core values, more FaB rewards and more events, will lead to a very successful 2019 for us all as we make new connections, solidify some very successful partnerships and widen our sales and marketing knowledge to help all your businesses grow.
Happy New Year!
Gemma & Amanda
